Cleopatra and Spartacus

Cleopatra and Spartacus are a bonded pair of German Shepherds who through no fault of their own are looking for a new home together if possible.

Cleopatra is 5 and Spartacus is 6, she is spayed and he is neutered.

They are family dogs with a lovely nature, they lived with children, they are not great with other dogs and they don't like cats and will chase any small furries.

They are being rehomed because their family has been moved to accommodation where the landlord won't accept pets.

Spartacus and Cleo are doing well in their foster home. He has been beaten in the past, a raised arm in the house causes him to flinch. He is also scared of the beeping noise of the microwave and washing machine, so we think he may have been locked in a utility room at some point.

Neither of them is good with other dogs to date and Spartacus is pretty wound up by neighbour's cats.

However, the fosterer says they are so lovely, so affectionate, no problem with children, pedestrians, bicycles (though will need more training as no road sense at all).

They love a swim, she likes to splash onto him, he likes to fetch stick/ball and the same on the land too. They jump about on each other madly and sound like bears and race around, playing really well, but only with each other, and only in a certain area.

His recall is fab, but she will disappear after a fox etc, so the fosterers are being very careful where they let them off lead. They certainly need off-lead time.

They definitely need to be kept together.

Whoever adopts these two will not be disappointed

If you think you could offer these beautiful dogs a loving home where they will get everything they deserve, please can you fill out an adoption form?
