Charlie - Derbyshire

THIS IS URGENT - please come forward to help Charlie. His owner is not very well and poor Charlie doesnt seem too good either. I met a beautiful oldie who just wanted a cuddle and a fuss and gently took treats. He is very thin and its probably due to his age as his stools are hard so doesnt seem to be anything horrid like EPI. However if we could just get this gorgeous friendly lad into somewhere he will be cared for and monitored we can see if regular feeding will help put weight on him. He lives with another small dog, who he is very good with so Charlie would suit a multi dog home. He doesnt get walked at the moment, there isnt even a collar or lead in the house but he has open access to a garden and appears happy enough. I left the owner with some food for him and asked that he was given 3 meals a day, I'll go back in a day or two and check on Charlie again. I know its a big ask to foster an oldie but he really is a sweetheart and deserves to be safe and cared for in his twilight years. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR ENQUIRIES RE CHARLIE - HE IS SAFELY IN FOSTER NOW - Sadly after only 6 days in  his foster home, Charlie went to sleep and never woke up - at least he had a wonderful few days enjoying the fields and Spring sunshine. What a lovely dog he was RIP Charlie Passed 3rd April 2019, 10.50pm
