Buster - North East

Buster is currently in a foster home but they are finding it difficult when taking him out due to him reacting. He’s great with the dogs he knows but lacks confidence when he’s on his own with foster family. He’s great in the home, does bark on first meeting people but soon settles.

A confident handler is needed please. Buster needs time to build his confidence before he’s subjected to his outside surroundings/dogs/vehicles when he’s on his own.

He is approximately 4-5 years old and is currently entire (GSDR adoption procedure requires that adopter neuter... providing this information as we would not, in light of this, place him with an unspayed female).
Buster has a small scar on his nose due to a incident with the neighbour and due to this, has become nervous of strangers, men in particular. With confident and experienced handling this could be overcome.

He is a big, giddy boy, has previously lived with a Rottweiler and lived with two patterdales. He does not like cats and will bark at horses. He barks at dogs out and about but this seems to be in excitement.
Through fear of the neighbours, Buster was not being walked often and only being allowed in the garden to toilet whilst supervised so had a lot of energy to burn!

Once he is receiving the appropriate exercise and mental stimulation, along with guidance and training, he will be a cracking dog.
