Buddy - Suffolk

Update September 2018: GSD X Labrador Puppy Buddy has now been adopted.

Buddy did not have a good start. It is only now, at the age of nine months, that he is able to know what it means to be a joyful pup and to begin his education as to his place in the world. He was owned, initially, by a very inexperienced owner who had no idea at all how to bring up a dog. Thankfully he is now being fostered by a knowledgeable carer, who is bringing him along wonderfully. He is proving to be a fast learner and is a sweet natured boy.

Buddy is a typical lively young pup. He currently lives with older children very well, but we do not know how he is with younger ones and he might be too bouncy with them. He does understand basic commands now and he walks well on a two point harness. He is fine in a car and, again, is used to travelling in a harness.

He is a nice natured boy and lives happily with another dog. He did not react aggressively towards other dogs outside, when walked with our assessor. However, he is not well socialized with other dogs and can be nervous, even though his default reaction is not an aggressive one. With a calm confident owner and more socialization, Buddy will develop into a dog to make any owner proud.

If you are looking for an issue free dog who will fit into almost any household with a little more training, then Buddie is the boy for you.
