Bruno - South Yorkshire

Update from Foster mum: Bruno is a wonderful 1-year-old GSD who is looking for his forever home with lots of fusses and snuggles. He is a typical strong puppy who likes to see what he can get away with, but with ongoing training and correction, he is quickly learning what's good and what's not.

He is looking for an experienced owner as he has selective food aggression (he growls and reacts to me if I go anywhere near his food, but my partner can go anywhere near him. He is nervous initially around strangers and will bark but quick to learn that they are not as scary as they seem and will go for fusses once introduced. Dogs on the other hand - he LOVES! He will happily go up to other dogs and say a friendly hello and loves a game of chase. He is also savvy to back away and move on when a dog has growled/barked at him.

Bruno loves nothing more that to have a good snuggle, fuss, play and a good run to stretch his legs he will make a wonderful member of the family to his forever home. Put it this way...if it wasn't for the fact that I am returning to work in the New Year he wouldn't be going anywhere! Bruno is just over one-year-old and being rehomed as he is proving too strong a character for the previous owner to control.

Bruno is looking for a new family that have the time, patience and experience to continue his education. He would benefit from being socialised more with other dogs and people.

Our Foster carer finds Bruno to be a lovely friendly boy who is happy to say hello, plays very well with other dogs but seems to be frightened of new people. This may be due to the number of owners he has had in his short life, so it's really important that his next home is his forever home.

If you think you can offer this young boy the help and stability that he needs, then please get in touch.
