Blaze - West Yorks

Blaze is a very big shepherd 45 kilos plus, he is house trained, travels well in car but needs to be in the back . Great with children . However he can knock over small ones very easy .

Blaze is a big dog and very powerful he is what you would say didnt finish etitque school. . He is food obsessed and will eat anything apart from tangy food. He will try to take another dogs food . Food and toys are his obsession and will not give them up with a vice like grip on them . If playing with toys he can snap at the toy regardless if your hand there , but knows if he catches you. He understand gentle when taking things off you and does it so gentle . But if excited, he forgets .

He will try to dominate if you let him. He is not the dog that I would take into a china shop, he dose'nt care what's around him and will knock things over. Blaze can be very loving and I mean very loving , he will bury his head into you with such force he will lift you up to get his loving cuddles . He loves to play and will do so non stop.

He is so play obsessed he will ignore other dogs around him, gives them a quick glance and then back to focus . He would not take kindly to another dog trying to taking his toy. He will steal a toy from another dog and food as well. He eats really fast . He has good commands and if told will sit , lay and not touch his food unless commanded to.  He is very very boistrous and needs boundaries in place but will listen and take notice. He can be unpredictable with other dogs and could be aggressive but not done so for 4 years now , he has since been neutered and older and calmed down a lot and more chilled.

Not good with cats or livestock etc.

He is def a one owner dog and completely happy by himself or possibly with a female. He doesn't care what he lies in, whether it be slimy puddle or mud. He loves to be groomed and will lick you while doing it , and occasional like to nibble after giving kisses.

You cannot have him around you while your eating. As said he is not afraid of humans and would be very protective of you if need arose.  He is great with other female dogs but will bully them, unsure of other males. He is def a very confident dog.

He has no road sense so best to keep him on leash if in public. He can be ok with other dogs but not small ones, best to be safe.

Blaze is from the working line and is full of energy and needs a job or something to do. He will not stop and will exhaust himself, so have to limit his play time .

Blaze is fed a raw diet.
