Benji - Essex

Benji is a typical lively happy bubbly young GSD who has not had many walks. He is very strong on lead and jumps up to bite lead while out on his walk with our volunteer. Therefore Benji will need lead training and needs to get out and about walking as much as possible. He has a wonderful temperament and with some training is going to make a wonderful family friend. He has not been around children but he does have a lovely nature so we would consider a home with older children who are large dog savvy. He would knock over small children as he is so young and bouncy. He happily meets people in the home but will jump up with excitement but no aggression at all, although he in typical GSD style like to bark at first. Benji needs an active home where he can get lots of mental and physical exercise and he is wanting to please. Do you have the time and experience to give Benji the best home where he can learn and have fun? Although Bengi is living with 3 cats he does chase them and tries to play so if he is to be rehomed with a cat careful introduction would be needed, possibly a home without cats would be better.
