Baxter - N.Wales

Meet the very gorgeous Baxter who is 18mths old and is looking for his forever home

Baxter is neutered and is really friendly when introduced to new people

Baxter loves to be stroked and groomed

He is possessive with his food and bowls this is currently being managed by feeding on a towel on the floor which seems to be working, this issue would need to be worked on in Baxter’s new home

Baxter knows his basic commands and is walked on a figure 8 lead which prevents pulling

Baxter didn’t react to other dogs when our volunteers walked him but apparently will bark if they do first so we think with continuing socialisation Baxter will be good when out with other dogs

Baxter was ok with normal traffic but does get agitated when he sees large vans etc and will chase cyclists out of excitement

With all of the above in mind this lovely boy is looking for a home where he is the only pet in the home with an adopter who has previous experience in dealing with food possessive traits and has the time to show Baxter that it’s ok to share his things

A home without children as we would be concerned with a child and the food issue

No small furries as not tested

Baxter will make somebody a fabulous companion in the right home, he has so much to give and just thrives on human contact

Would you like to play?
