Baxter - Deceased

Baxter - Deceased

This very sad case is coming to us today 21/06/2013, his name is Baxter. He went into the pound after he was found tied to the gate of a boarding kennel early one morning. He is very underweight but worse than that, his anal glands had ruptured and he was in extreme pain.
It was thought at one point that he may have to be put to sleep because he was in so much pain and because of infection.

If the owner had come forward to claim him, the RSPCA were looking to prosecute for making this dog suffer in this way.

He looks about 14 but the vet says he's 3-4. He is on the mend now and the RSPCA will provide medication if he needs any further treatment.

He is a lovely chap who deserves to be in a home not kennels.

we will post more information once he has settled but he is a lovely boy
