Baxter - Cardiff

Baxter is at Cardiff's Dogs Home

With Baxter being extremely smart we feel a home who is able to challenge his mind with positive training games will definitely do him the world of good. Potentially doing a sport like agility would be ideal.

Baxter will require a breed experienced home, someone who has a passion for the GSD and have the time and patience to help this him learn how to be a responsible canine.

He has come on so well with his socialising skills and polite manners. He still has a long way to go and is definitely looking for someone who is in it for the long haul. He will require someone responsible who is willing to follow advice from staff and our behaviourist. He will require help with his confidence around people, bikes and guarding things, this includes his food and toys. He can also get over excited when playing and needs to learn what is acceptable play.

He will need to be responsibly managed. Baxter deserves the best and only the best. He has so much love to give he just needs a little extra help with how to give and take in life.

I prefer to live with adults only

I may be able to live with cats

I may be able to live with other dogs

I need an active home, I need lots of exercise, I need someone with breed experience, I am not suitable for first-time dog owners, I would prefer to live outside of the Cardiff area, I would need my new owner to take me to training classes, I need some time to get to know new people
