Bailey - Bedfordshire

REHOMED

BEAUTIFUL BAILEY

Here is a rare opportunity to adopt a quality pedigree youngster with no major issues. Bailey is being rehomed through no fault of her own, only because her owner has had to return to full time work. She feels that Bailey is being left for too long and is not receiving the attention that she deserves.

Bailey is good with both people and dogs. She has lived with another dog briefly and, when she sees them, she only gets excited at the prospect of play. Bailey is also good with children but has never met any children under the age of seven.

Unusually Bailey is reasonably well trained. She has been to classes and is trained to supplement her exercise on a walking machine! She does get excited at the beginning of walks but will respond to commands and her recall is good.

Is there a downside? Well, yes, Bailey is very nervous of strangers. It took half an hour for our assessors to befriend her. Because of this, her owner is very willing for prospective adopters to meet with Bailey at her home and be introduced gradually. She will also walk Bailey with them to show how she is, when she is with her owner. We are worried that the trauma of meeting new people too quickly would not show Bailey as the sweet friendly girl that she is. She is described by our assessors as 'bright and willing to please'. None of this would be apparent if she were paralyzed with nerves.

Bailey will need a patient owner who will be understanding of her sweet nature and be prepared to take time over getting to know her. Anyone adopting her in this way will be richly rewarded.

This is an unusual chance to adopt a beautiful young girl, who is already a credit to the breed.
