Archie - Cornwall

REHOMED

This gorgeous boy is Archie who is a 4-year-old neutered long coat.

Archie lived on a farm for his first 2 years but his owners had to move into town where he has never really settled.

His owner has become anxious when walking Archie which he sensed and it has made him reactive towards other dogs when on a lead. He is very strong and has pulled his lady owner over to get to another dog. This now means that he is never being walked along with being left for very long periods whilst his owner is at work so he has become very frustrated and bored.

He does not like cats.

Our volunteer found him to be a lovely friendly boy who greeted him with licks and he has very good dog manners.

Our volunteer took him for a walk and he is very strong and pulls but this can easily be rectified by a head collar and getting Archie getting out and about to socialise him.

Archie will be a great dog for someone who will give him time and put in the effort because he is so happy to please you.

Archie is a big boy and very excitable so he would probably be better in an adult only home or one without young, small children.

You will not be disappointed with Archie who has all the makings of a wonderful, faithful companion.
