ARCHIE - BERKSHIRE

REHOMED

Meet the lovely Archie sadly through no fault of his own is looking for a new family. His family are downsizing and will have no outdoor space for him to run around.

The volunteer arrived at his home and was greeted by an excitable boy wagging his tail. He did not jump up. He can mouth when he gets over excited but is far from aggressive.

He is a lovely playful pup who lives with young children and is very good around them. He has lots of energy so going forward will need that channelled correctly. Archie's downside is that he pulls like a freight train on the lead and does pull strongly towards other dogs when he sees them. The owner says that he is "aggressive" towards other dogs but the volunteer feels that he could potentially be feeding off her anxieties, the owner worries which feeds down the lead to Archie. The volunteer said that although pulling he didn't growl or bark at any dog that they saw when out.

In short Archie needs a home willing to put some time into proper lead training and work on his socialisation. He will be an amazing companion once this is sorted.....
