German Shepherd Rescue urgently needs a new van / pick up

The rescue is struggling with transport for our rescue dogs!

Well maybe it's not quite as bad as this but not far off. We all use our own vehicles which is less than ideal and not as safe as if we had a vehicle specifically kitted out for transporting dogs - especially large dogs with big teeth.

Could you donate an old van /pick up that we could use for transporting dogs? It doesn't matter what mileage or condition as long as it is road worthy.

OK, we will settle for something in between!!

We have tried the police to attempt to get an ex-police dog van, we have also tried various companies that have fleets but so far we have not had any luck. We need a vehicle that allows us to safely isolate driver and dog(s) and one in which we could perhaps carry more than one dog.

Volunteers are always welcome

German Shepherd Rescue is run by volunteers who are involved because of their love for the breed. Most have jobs and families and fit in rescue work when they can and at their own cost. Please be patient and we will deal with your requests as soon as we can. Our rescue dogs are worth waiting for!
