Anika

Anika has now been in kennels for several months and isn't doing well, she urgently needs an experienced DOG and CHILD free foster home

Anika originally came from Romania early this year she lived with other dogs in Romania however on coming to the UK it appears she is reactive to other dogs.

She is currently in boarding kennels in North Wales and the fact she is surrounded by other dogs is causing Anika a great deal of stress she is tail spinning and chewing her leg despite having toys in her kennel (Anika loves her toys) she is reactive to dogs being placed in an adjoining kennel and focuses on this so she desperately requires a foster home with someone who is home a lot of the time (Anika would need to be crated for trips to the shop etc) she suffers from separation anxiety and can be destructive if not crated she will need further work on the crate being a safe place but she is happy to go into a crate with her favourite toy

She is an extremely loving and happy girl when out of her kennel she loves nothing more than giving the kennel owner cuddles but being a Malinois, kennels are not ideal she requires an active home preferably rural or in a quiet location where she wouldn't see many other dogs. She has a sensitive tummy and is currently fed James Wellbeloved Grain Free which has completely solved her tummy issues she is approximately 5 to 6 years old.

In the right home we believe Anika will flourish and become a loving companion for her adopter she is much loved by the kennel owner however it is obvious the current situation is affecting her badly
