Alfie - Norfolk

REHOMED

Meet handsome youngster Alfie, a real cheeky chappie.

Alfie is full of fun and life, which sadly means that he has become too much of a handful for his disabled owner to cope with. The owner loves this young dog dearly, but simply cannot cope any longer with his high energy and exuberance.

The inevitable consequence of this sad situation is that Alfie has responded to his owner's vulnerability by assuming leadership. He has become over-protective of her and guards her far too enthusiastically, especially around males.

The situation is becoming exacerbated by him being too difficult for his current owner to handle, so his walks are neither frequent nor as long as they should be. He currently has no opportunity for off-lead running, and is not well socialised with with either dogs or humans.

However, our assessor walked Alfie and he behaved very well for her. Alfie will respond to leadership, and he is very food & toy orientated so will be easy to train for an active owner. If you can give Alfie the stimulation he desperately needs we feel that in return he will become a well balanced, affectionate companion.

Please do get in touch if you feel you can offer Alfie the active life he needs.
