Smiley - Newport Gwent

Smiley - Newport Gwent

In kennels since January 2014

Smiley is a mixed German Shepherd 10years years old who was saved from the streets of Bucharest and from the slaughter that is occurring out there in Romania right now.

You can read more about our lovely Smiley here - Smiley the dog that really does smile

Smiley was rehomed where things became very bad for him. He was taken to kennels and has now been in there since January 2014 and we don't think he deserved this. Smiley was a lovely, friendly, affectionate boy but when taken to the kennels, he was a different dog and now hates children.

Smiley is learning to trust big people again and he now deserves a home of his own. Smiley loves most other dogs.

Smiley needs a home where he can relax and have some boundaries. A quiet home where there will not be visitors very often would be good for him as strangers can make him feel a bit uneasy.

Smiley gets taken out by one of the dog walkers and her husband, who visit the kennels regularly. He is very good to walk on the lead and although not been let off lead he has been on the long line and learning recall. He likes to play with his toys and go out for his walks. He would suit a home with possibly a couple, he could possibly go into a family with teenagers but he would like his home to be a quiet one.

Smiley was given that name because he really does smile. Can you put the smile back on Smileys' face?
