Chance - Northamptonshire

Will you help Chance and give him a third or fourth one?

This boy has been rescued before and now needs to be rehomed again. He is a kindly fellow who has done nothing wrong. It is simply that his owner has lost her job and has health issues. She would dearly love to be able to keep him but simply cannot afford to do so. Both he and his sister Mia with whom he once lived have been well loved and are family and people orientated.

Chance is not a problem to handle in any way. His training currently is virtually non existent but he is kindly and well-mannered enough. His recall is fairly good but he is not let off lead unless alone. Chance can be wary of other dogs and was protective of his sister. Generally speaking though, he would not be described as dog aggressive, although his socialisation will need to be worked on.

Chance is people orientated. He will bark at strangers but is friendly when he gets to know that you are a guest. He is good with children but has not met any who are very young.

Chance only has one issue and that is that he has a slight food allergy, probably to cereals. He has not been tested. He is fine when he is fed a correct hypoallergenic diet. Otherwise he is a fit and healthy boy.

If Chance were granted his absolute wish it would be for a home where he would get attention and be rarely left. He craves human interaction and is a very loving boy.

Will you give him another Chance?
