Ellie is currently in foster care with one of our volunteers who has helped another rescue assess this 2 year old girl as she is in desperate need of finding a forever home due to having so many foster carers but never really finding the right home for her. Currently living with another young shepherd, Ellie is having the time of her life and loving being part of a pack (as there are other dogs in her current foster home). Basically as long as she gets a good walk a day Ellie is then quite happy to snuggle up and relax at your feet. She has been on a GSDR group walk and behaved very well, although on the lead she can be more reactive and will need further training, using a head collar for lead walks is helping. Ellie knows basic commands and is crate trained. She is a very affectionate girl and loves nothing more than a cuddle. Spayed at 11months had puppy vaccinations but no boosters. Also microchipped. Ellie loves dogs but appears not so sure around cats likes to chase but then just sits and looks if cat jumps on fence. At just 2 years old this GSD/Lab cross surely should find an experienced active home that can give her the love and settled environment she deserves .
