Max came into our care after being found as a stray and taken in by the local dog warden. Max was microchipped and from piecing the info together it would appear the original owner had sold Max on as couldn't look after him anymore and whoever had purchased him from the newspaper ad hadn't kept Max and he ended up as a stray ANYWAY whatever reason poor Max came to be homeless doesn't really matter all that does is he is now very safely in foster care. Max is 8 years old, is a very friendly, affectionate and happy dog, good on the lead and loves his walks. Outside when he sees dogs he can be vocal but there is absolutely no aggression. Our foster carer says he has bonded really quickly and is a joy to have around. Things happen for a reason and thankfully Max found GSDR and the safety of foster. If you are looking for a handsome, affectionate,l GSD then Max is your man! Max has been on one of the GSDR Group Walks and found one lovely large shepherd dog he bonded with and they had a brilliant walk together and good old run around. June 2015.
