Marvin - Newport Gwent

Marvin - Newport Gwent

Came into kennels February 2015

My name is Marvin, I have now been in Wales in the kennels for over a year. I was a very scared boy when I first arrived and I wouldn't let the kind people come into my kennel

They have been very patient with me, talking to me all the time

Things changed for me when I was very brave and with a little help from some sausages, the lady came into my kennel. I peeped over my blanket and very gently she touched me. She said I was a very handsome boy. She gave me some sausage which I really like. She sat by me for a while and asked would I like a cwtch.

For the first time in my life I felt happy and my tail wagged. Gently she slipped a red thing over my head, I was a bit scared but felt ok. Then she picked me up and carried me outside into a big green field

I sniffed around the grass it was lovely, then the lady whispered to me - now your new life begins. I am not so scared now but I would take a time to get to know some one new.

I've been told that GSDR will find me a mum and dad so don't know what it means but it's sounds cool. Still, nobody has come for me in all this time, I don't know why because I have so much to give.

I am about 8/9 years old, I am castrated.

I would prefer not to live with noisy scary children or cats. A nice quiet home where I will be loved, cared for and taken for nice walkies would suit me just fine.
