Haylie is a lovely girl who has become very protective of the female owner, this has caused problems now they have a child who is now toddling, causing Haylie to fight with the Lab bitch in the house.
Haylie was found by her current owners as a stray, very under weight and with skin and ear infections and despite doing all they could contacting the relevant organisations no owner ever came forward. She is believed to be approximately 6 years old and is now clear of all infections and now a little over weight.
Haylie has very good basic commands and good recall although does pull on the lead. As she has become over protective we would only consider a home with older children who know how to behave around GSD's. She is good with other dogs when out and its only the bitch she lives with that she has had fights with, therefore we see no reason why she could not live with a castrated male if introductions go well. We don not know if she gets on with cats, but she does have a prey drive so a home without would be best for her.
