BLADE - 2yrs. Was due to die at the pound!

We believe Blade to be around 2yrs. Black & Tan long coated entire male. he is very thin and needs some TLC he was in the pound and on his last day before we took him in. He travelled up with another entire male with no trouble so we think he will be ok with other dogs. Cats we don't know and have no previous history on him. The volunteer that transported him said he was very gentle the staff in the kennels say he is a nice boy.

Abbi

This poor girl was taken from a hell hole pound in the north where her fate would have been to be put down when she reached her sell-by date. Not much known yet other than she is lovely and friendly

Star and Skye - mum and daughter

Marv

Marv is a 4-year-old, black and tan, semi long haired, neutered, male. He is a lovely dog - friendly with everyone - people in the street and children - everyone loves him. Marv is good with other dogs, is obedient and walks well on the lead. He is fine with the dog sitters cats but will chase cats in the street. Marv is desperately looking for a new home due to a marriage breakup which has resulted in his home being repossessed. He will shortly be homeless - he is a lovely, friendly, family dog and needs a new start as soon as possible. 

Max - at risk

Max is a 4-year-old, black and tan, semi long coated, entire male and has been kept at a pub. He lives outside during the day and inside at night. Max has not been well socialised or had much time spent with him but he is reasonably friendly. He gets on with other dogs but does not like cats. Max can be very loving and friendly if a little over eager and can jump up and knock you over. He is a large dog and will need an experienced owner. Owners are moving to rented accommodation and are unable to take Max with them. 

Bob - 2 years

Bobby is a long haired, black and tan, 2 years old. entire male. He has lived with four Jack Russells in the past and has been around children. When he was young, Bobby lived in a scrap yard where he was ill-treated. He was 'rescued' from this existence by his previous owners who had some difficulties with him - they took him to training classes where he was anti-social with other dogs and people, believed to be through fear. Bobby has now been taken into kennels and appears to be friendly and good-natured - he is a nice, friendly dog who gets on well with other dogs and is friendly with people.

Zara 3 years Scotland

Zara has been kept in an enclosed compound as a guard dog from a young age has no social skills she is been assessed in kennels at the moment. Is is not known if she is spayed.

Bronx

Bronx is a 6-year-old, white, semi long haired, entire male. He is a big dog, full of bounce and fun - he enjoys romping in fields and running through the long grass. Bronx loves other dogs and has lived with cats. He is a generally friendly dog but is not overly keen on children. Bronx does not like cyclists or joggers and he needs an experienced owner to work through this issue with him. He is a stunningly good looking dog and knows it - he will make someone a loyal and loving friend.

Tyson 5 years

Tyson came from Ireland where he lived in a family home with children. He is a lovely boy who bonds strongly with his family so he may become protective of his home and family members. He is OK with other dogs.

Pepe and Max - at risk

Pepe 8 year old, black and tan, semi long coated, spayed bitch and Max 4 year old, black and tan, semi long coated, entire male have been kept at a pub. They live outside during the day and inside at night. Pepe has not been well socialised and apart from Max, it is not known whether she gets on with other dogs (although she does not like small dogs). Although Pepe can be loving and friendly, she can be protective and will need an experienced owner. Max has not been well socialised or had much time spent with him but he is reasonably friendly. He gets on with other dogs but does not like cats. Neither have ever been left near children. Max can be very loving and friendly if a little over eager and can jump up and knock you over. He is a large dog and will need an experienced owner. Owners are moving to rented accommodation at the end of August and are unable to take Pepe and Max with them.
