MORE RESCUE DOGS REHOMED >>>>>>>

Sadie - Bristol

sadie gsd

Sadie is a 4-year-old spayed bitch. She is good with children of all ages, other dogs and cats. Sadie does not have a tail after having being mistreated in her original home. Also, for this reason, she is not keen on men until she gets to know them. Her recent owner has now died and his wife is unable to walk her and Sadie will be left for long hours while she is at work. Can you give this poor girl a loving home to call her own?

Romulus - Essex

Romulus is only 9 months old. He is entire, vaccinated and chipped. He’s a typical young man. Very,  playful and loves attention. He lived with a young man in his flat, no access to a garden, roped to a back door when he went out. The Young man was confined to a wheelchair, so Rom’s behaviour all hinges from this, he plays from a sitting position, returning all toys to you. He doesn’t have a nasty bone in his body, but does lack training and recall will need work. He is house trained and we are told he will chase cats. No destruction at all, although he loves to put everything in his mouth and sometimes will take a few household items and take them out in the garden. He is currently in foster with young children and other dogs and has been absolutely fine with them. When told enough by the others he does take notice, if only for a little while, his reaction is that of timid ‘oops I’ve gone too far’ he’s just all play.  Can you give this young boy a loving home?

Sully - Herts

sully gsd on the sofa

Sofa Sully is a 2-year-old entire male. Good with children and cats (but can be boisterous). Can be apprehensive with other dogs as he was attacked when younger.  Sully does not like runners or people on bikes and will chase them! Needs lead training and guidance and lots of exercises as he is becoming over excited. Being rehomed due to the imminent arrival of a new baby and a relationship break up!

Bruno - Harrogate

bruno gsd

Bruno is handsome 5 years old, whose owner is not confident enough with him and won’t allow him near her child.  As a result, the dog senses the uncertainty and doesn’t know what is expected of him.  He is entire and in need of socialisation/training, but was OK when our volunteer walked him.  Bruno needs an experienced owner who will give him some direction and stability in his life.  Given the circumstances, we would not rehome him where there are small children.

Sasha

sasha gsd

This pretty girl is 3 yr old, spayed bitch, Sasha. Microchipped but not vaccinated. Sasha has always lived with her mum, also up for rehoming, Kersher, but is quite bossy with her, so we are rehoming them separately. Sasha is not keen on cats. Travels well. Housetrained. Sasha not used to being walked much so needs some lead training. A beautiful girl, who will make a loving pet.

Buster

buster gsd

This beautiful boy is Buster, he greeted me with a big bushy wagging tail and kisses galore, this stunner is a big long coated sable, he is adorable, he is a very big boy and is 2yrs old, he has such a lovely soft temperament, he has not been with young children but children 12 and over is fine, very playful with other dogs but not aggressive at all, no food or toy aggression, he has not been tested with cats, he does bark at passers by but soon settles when told, Buster is good at recall but do get a little travel sick, this boy would suit a family with older children and GSD experience to bring the best out of him, a little green around the edges but with a little time would be perfect, only up for rehoming due to a change in the present owners circumstances. Buster will be staying with his current owners in South Wales until a new forever home is found for him.

Kiki

kiki gsd

This striking boy is Kiki, he is entire and 4 yrs old, he welcomed our assessor with love and wagging tail, he is a really loving dog, he is good with children although we will only home him with children of 7 yrs and above due to his size, Kiki is a lovely friendly dog but would benefit from an experienced GSD owner to carry on his basic training, he is good with other dogs, cats untested, Kiki is house trained, is up to date with vaccinations although his booster is due soon, he is microchipped also. He will need a little work on his lead walking. All in all, Kiki is a lovely placid dog who will make an ideal addition to a family environment. Kiki will stay with his owner in South Wales until his new forever home is found.

Prince, Harrogate - what a stunner this dog is.

prince gsd

Prince is a very striking boy.  Extremely energetic and alert, he needs an owner to match!! – we think he will thrive on the challenge of agility work.  He is dark sable in colour and entire.  He has lived with children in his previous home.  He is another dog who needs to be in a stable home environment and not in kennels (in the Harrogate area).

Ben - Harrogate

ben gsd with floppy ear

Ben, aged about 18 months and neutered, is very friendly and loves attention.  He is not doing well in kennels and needs a home where he will feel secure and get the socialisation and training he lacks.  We believe he will then become a great pet.  In kennels in the Harrogate area.

Kim

kim gsd

This beautiful 21mth old entire girl has not had the best start in life but her current owners have worked hard on her to try and bring out her good character.  At the moment she will wonder off with everyone, extended family members and even strangers.  She does have a bad habit of nipping people including children but this is a nervous reaction rather than aggression. She doesn't like loud people which result in her having little accidents around the home.  She can also open doors which for her own safety needs addressing.  She loves cuddles once she gets to know you and her commands are good. It is unknown what she is like around cats but has lived with other dogs who were more dominant than her. It would be best for her to be rehomed other older calmer children who have experience with GSDs.

Petra - London

petra gsd

This gorgeous girl is 11 months old. She is a lovely dog with people and bonds very quickly but she needs to be an only dog as whilst she will play with other dogs, she tends to get quite forceful and dominant. She is very intelligent and quick to learn so needs plenty of mental stimulation. Petra is vaccinated but not spayed.
