GSD's stuck in kennels - unwanted & unloved

These dogs are all being housed in commerical boarding kennels at the rescues expense. most have come from the dog pounds, all were at risk of being put to sleep. We really could not allow that to happen. Can you sponsor a kennel to help us pay the ever mounting kennel bills so that we can keep more dogs safe. Leilah - all the way from the USA
Leilah is a large GSD who came to the UK all the way from America but it has not been a good experience for her as she has been passed from pillar to post and spent many months in kennels. She will adore her family, is OK with strangers if introduced properly but she is very, very protective. She needs a rural home with experienced owners without any other dogs.
Moss and Fern
Saved from death row at the last minute. Moss is older than Fern, they love each other and we want a home that can take the two of them together. Beautiful temperament and whoever gets these 2 will be a very lucky person indeed. Delightful dogs.
Tommy 3 SE
Tommy was terrified when he first came into rescue, with no confidence at all. He has come on in leaps and bounds and with experienced owners he will learn to trust and enjoy life.
Belle
Belle was picked up as a stray and was in a pound due to be pts on 21st April as the pound was full and she had been there for longer than 7 days. We could not let that happen and so found her a place in kennels. She is very friendly with people - seems alert and healthy. Does not like other dogs or animals - probably about 5 or 6 years old.
Razor 4 years
Razor is a black and tan entire male. He has always lived outside, but is housetrained. Razor is an obedient dog but can be protective. When he came into the rescue he was being kept on a chain at the back of the house and was very nervous of strangers. He is learning to trust again and has become a firm favourite with the kennels who have helped rehabilitate this poor lad. He is ready to go to an experienced home but we want the potential new owner to visit him a few times in kennels and get to know him before we let him go.
Max 4years
Max is a 4 year old black & tan male GSD x. Max likes people and seems ok with other dogs He is a little short on lead training but is house trained and travels well. Max is a nervous lad and needs an adult only home with someone around most of the time as he does not like being left alone. Max is a real oddball in that he looks very much like a German Shepherd but he is only the size of a spaniel making him ideal for people with a smaller house or garden. Max is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped

Smoky aprox 7-8 - NE
Smoky is a lovely gentle boy saved from being put to sleep at the pound at the very last minute. He has been neglected, he is very thin and judging by the state of his claws he hasn't been walked. HAs been a bit grumpy in kennels but that's not surprising, he just needs out. Smashing older boy that will make a lovely pet. Needs a wash and brush up and lots of TLC.
Mack approx 7 - Just wants hugs and attention. Needs out of kennels asap
Mack is a really cheerful chappie and will make a wonderful companion. Because of his condition, we thought Mack was really old when he first came to us but the vet says not. He has improved much but he needs to get out of kennels and enjoy exercise to build him up. This poor dog could really do with some TLC. He was found with painful and irritating skin and ear problems that required time and attention to heal, something easily preventable had he had the care every dog needs. These have now been treated. He has been gentle and obliging with the kennel staff. It is not known how he is with other dogs as yet. Please, he really does need somewhere warm and comfortable to be, kennels isn’t the place for any dog but it's really is awful for older dogs.
Harvey 4 yrs Bristol - in kennels since December 07
This beautiful big boy is 4 years old, a big friendly boy that is not bad with other dogs but the family that had him claimed he had growled at the kids. Experienced home required without young children. Harvey is a beautiful big dog who is protective and territorial but he adores people he knows.
Hogan 1 year old Scotland
Hogan is in kennels at the moment, he is a lovely boy but will need an experienced owner without children. He gets nervous in new situations. Will need someone who is prepared to put in the work with him.
Zara 3 years Scotland
Zara has been kept in an enclosed compound as a guard dog from a young age has no social skills she is been assessed in kennels at the moment. Is is not known if she is spayed.
Foxy 1 year old Scotland
Foxy is 17 months old. She has been kept in a kennel with a male springer spaniel. She is house trained and has basic obedience skills, comes from a family with 5 children. Nipped a visitor who put their hand through the kennel wire.
