2016 Christmas Appeal

Once again we are approaching the festive season when many dogs find themselves unwanted or abandoned. This is a terrible time because all rescues will be full to bursting and the dog pounds will start putting dogs to sleep because they need to free up space for others to come in. Don't think they will put down just the elderly or sick; it may well just be a case of first in, first out.

We already have too many dogs sitting in boarding kennels at great cost to the rescue. As we don't have our own centre, we use commercial boarding kennels to house dogs that don't have homes to go to. Spare a thought for those dogs who are spending their second Christmas in kennels.........
