Lovely older German Shepherd Dogs that need new homes
Poor Archie. His story highlights the plight of older dogs
We do not want these oldies to spend Xmas in a cold kennel
Capa - appallingly treated

Capa came out of a terrible home where she and a collie were being kept in appalling conditions with scraps for food and rain water as their source of water, a tiny kennel in a small yard as their only shelter. Capa is a 7 year old small, entire female, predominantly black and tan, semi coat. She is currently in foster with children, a resident dog and a cat, she is wonderful with people and a very gentle, calm girl, she does not get on with little dogs. Capa is a easy going girl who even though has been severely neglected still loves human company. Given love and a warm fire she will be a contented girl.
Bruno - very sad case.

Bruno is a 8 year old, black and tan, short coated, entire male. Bruno has had a terrible life so far, he was kept in a car all day until of a evening when he was let into a yard as a deterrent, this was his existence until he was taken in by a kind person who feared another winter in the cold would be detrimental to his health he is currently living in a home. Unfortunately though Bruno does not like the resident cats and is desperately looking for a home to call his own. It is unknown how he is with dogs but he ignores them on walks, he loves cuddles and is very affectionate.
Keizer- 8 NW. In kennels many months

Keizer is an 8 year old, black and tan, short haired, entire male. He loves people and is generally friendly. He is fine with the owners teenage children when they visit. Keizer is very protective towards his owner and will guard her. She is pregnant and due to his protective nature he is being rehomed due to concerns about his reaction to the baby. Keizer hates cats, sheep and other dogs, having been attacked by another dog as a puppy. He is well behaved and obedient and needs a new home.
Smoky aprox 7-8 - NE

Smoky is a lovely gentle boy saved from being put to sleep at the pound at the very last minute. He has been neglected, he is very thin and judging by the state of his claws he hasn't been walked. HAs been a bit grumpy in kennels but that's not surprising, he just needs out. Smashing older boy that will make a lovely pet. Needs a wash and brush up and lots of TLC.
Urma 10yrs. Dogs Trust Merseyside Needs out of kennels asap

Urma is a lovely 10 year old German Shepherd who came into the care of Dogs Trust, Merseyside due to a change in her owner’s circumstances. Urma lived in her previous home for 5 years, so she’s very sad to be in kennels.. Urma is fully housetrained and doesn’t mind being left for reasonable periods of time. She’d love to find an adult-only home where she will be the only pet. Urma would greatly benefit from being with someone who has dog training experience..This beautiful lady has waited for her new home for quite sometime now, please can you help her?
